Film maker Rob Hurtt whose work was recently described by long-time Tim Burton collaborator Jonathan Gems as ‘Cinematic Haiku of real quality’,  has recently completed shooting his next  film ‘I Remember April’ in the area.

Described as a ‘Pinteresque Play For Today’, ‘I Remember April’ tells the story of delusional Dougie who regales shop assistant Dave with his ever more fanciful tales before revealing a dark and disturbing side to his nature.

The film is now being edited and is set for a Crystal Palace screening sometime before Christmas.

Is that what this was?! I passed it by and did wonder what was going on in Bambino’s.
When is the screening? and where?

    Hi

I didn’t know it was shot in Bambino’s. I knew it was shot locally. Details of screening data and venue not releases as yet. Will keep you posted.

Yes, you were right jlsmith984. I just got a quote from andy at Bambinos:

“Very happy last week Monday and Tuesday to hand Bambino over to Rob Hurtt and his very professional film crew for the filming of I Remember April ,Rob’s latest short film.
Without giving the game away the shop was transformed into a surreal space,a product of Rob’s immagination.
Looking forward to seeing the finished product”.
